Chief Narinder Batra Named for the FIH President Post

Indian Hockey National Federation Chief Narinder Batra has been named for FIH president. FIH, acronym of International Hockey Federation is a powerful name in the field of major international hockey tournament.
Narinder Batra’s name has been nominated as one of the three candidates for the powerful post of FIH. Along with Narinder Batra two other names have been chosen they are Australia's Ken Read and Ireland's David Balbirnie.
The names have been elected as the former President Leonardo Negre is to complete eight years of his tenure. The new President and Executive Board Members of the FIH will be elected during the Hockey Revolution Part II Congress on November 12 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The election of the FIH Executive Board will be part of the 45th FIH Congress on November 12 in Dubai. The committee of FIH is also represented on the Board, ensuring that athletes play an important role in determining the future of hockey.
