Creative People Are Resilient to Death

A new study found that creative people worry less about death. Creative people are the persons who are highly motivated to create long lasting impact on cultures. In fact the creative work done by Leonard Cohen and David Bowie lives in the heart of people even after their death.

Creative people are extremely benefitted from existential security in context of death. The Islamic State’s act of destroying artifacts’ in Iraq in 2015 created a negative impact on society. They destructed an important part of cultural legacy. A research conducted at Kent’s School of Psychology said that people with high creative skills are resilient towards death concerns.

The research was conducted on a group of 108 students for whom creativity acts as a central part of cultural worldview. It was found that creative people made lesser death associations in their thought processes as compared to others.
