Day-9 Of Ramjas Basketball Champions League

The ninth day was full of action and enthusiasm. All the teams with their unique game tactics and competitive attitude kept the court recharged throughout the day.
The day began with the match of G.D. Goenka, Vasant Kunj against Bal Bharti School, Pitampura in Jr. Boys Category. From the beginning the strategy of Bal Bharti was to attack. They were keen about winning. Bal Bharti not only won with a score of 55-22 but showed an admirable game. The G.D. Goenka’s team struggled very hard but due to lack of coordination and defensive strategy of playing they could not make it to the next round.
The Second match was played in Sr. Boys Category between Ramjas School, Pusa Road and ITL Dwarka. Ramjas was dominating the match in the beginning but as soon as the match expanded the tables turned and ITL easily grabbed the game. ITL Dwarka won with a score of 38-16. ITL followed a good plan of action throughout the match which gave them the result.
Montfort, Ashok Vihar and Step By Step, Noida played the third game in Jr. Boys Category. Montfort school took the lead from the beginning and won with a score of 30-14. Both the teams showed an entertaining game. The winning team played in a very balanced way on the other hand Step By Step’s team panicked which took the match away from their hand.
Match four was played in girls’ category between Maxfort School, Dwarka and Bal Bharti Pitampura. Bal Bharti team’s confidence reflected that they were well prepared and so they were. Bal Bharti won with a score of 11-30. Their strategy of not letting their opponents come closer to their basket made their way for the next round.
Fifth Match in Sr. Boys category was a tough one for both the teams Apeejay School, Pitampura and Chinmaya Vidyalaya Vasant Vihar. Chinmaya Vidyalaya won with a score of 24-16 but the struggle continued till the last second.
Last match was played by Bal Bharti School, Pitampura in Sr. Boys category against Heritage Public School, Rohini. Bal Bharti School won with a score of 28-2. As the figures reflect it was a cake walk for Bal Bharti School.
The rest of all the matches for the day were postponed due to rain.
