Dhirubhai Ambani- The Icon of Determination

Dhirubhai Ambani was the renowned business tycoon who laid the strong foundation of Reliance Industries in Bombay. He was born on December 28, 1932, in a middleclass family of Gujarat.
Initially he imported polyester yarn and exported spices to Yemen with his cousin. In 1966 he started Reliance Commercial Corporation on a very low level in a single room but due to his business mind and risk taking ability turned it into a big Reliance Industries. Dhirubhai Ambani went through so many ups and downs in life and business but he never lost hope. He had a control over stock exchange and he came out of all kind of worst situation applying his mind and technique. He was listed in The Sunday Times top 50 businessmen in Asia and was awarded Padma Vibhushan posthumously for his contribution in trade industry. He died on 6th July, 2002 after a heart attack. His sons Mukesh and Anil Ambani are taking care of his umpire. A movie named Guru was made after getting inspired by the life of Dhirubhai Ambani. He was the man who dared to dream big and bring that into reality through his will and perseverance.
