Dhoni to Play India's First ODI against England

Dhoni is ready to play for India’s first ODI against England that is scheduled on January 15th in Pune. As per the history it is supposed to be M.S. Dhoni's first international match in two and half months. The last match was played against New Zealand at Visakhapatnam on October 29, 2016.
The inventor of helicopter shot, Captain Dhoni is expected to play his first international match in two and half months with in fact on official game time in view. As per the procedure the injured players can play at least one first-class game before being considered for national selection. However the same is not applicable for Dhoni, who has announced his retirement from longer set-up.
Earlier Dhoni has also played for Vijay Hazare Trophy for Jharkhand as a preparation for the limited-over tour of Australia in 2015. Though, this edition of Hazare Trophy will only start from February 25. The reports have also added that, where other ODI specialists are playing Ranji Trophy for their states, Dhoni is yet to benefit that option.
