The Egyptian Football Association stated that as such there is absolutely no problem between it and star player Mohamed Salah. Mohamed Salah Ghaly is an Egyptian professional footballer who plays as a forward for English club Liverpool and the Egyptian national team.
Recently there were reports that the Liverpool forward might quit the national team. It was reported that Salah was unhappy after being photographed with Chechen leader RamzanKadyrov. Salah's agent Ramy Abbas conveyed by way of a tweet that he was very angry and upset. He complained that his image was being misused in a promotion for official sponsor WE when he had a sponsorship deal with rival telecommunications firm Vodafone. He considered it as a major insult. Salah missed Egypt's World Cup opener against Uruguay because he was recovering from the shoulder injury that forced him out of Liverpool's Champions League final defeat. He returned for the game against hosts Russia, and scored a penalty in Egypt's 3-1 defeat.
