Editorials News | Apr-09-2019
The CBSE secretary, Anurag Tripathi said that the students should learn from what they study and use it practically. There should not be any more rote learning, in which they only learn for exams and then forget.
As per the CBSE board, they said that “Experiential learning” will be the punch line for the CBSE in the 2019-20 academic session, on Thursday. Anurag Tripathi, the secretary, also said every year from now on, the board will have a punch line.
The board has also decided to thrust on academic improvement and for this, they will soon be unveiling a policy, he added.
In the meantime, the board dispelled rumours circulating on social media that results of CBSE will be released in the month of April. There was a circular that was apparently signed by the controller of examinations of the board, was going around on the social media platforms.
According to the words of a CBSE official, this circular was a fake and the official, whose signatures were there on that circular, no longer held the post. He said that the results will be declared in the third week of May.
