Fast Bowler Jhye Richardson: Not A Part Of World Cup

One of the biggest news for cricket lovers has recently come up. On May 8, 2019, the Australian fast bowler has been put out of the list of those who shall be performing in the World Cup. Jhye Avon Richardson is an Australian cricketer. He made his debut in domestic cricket in the month of October 2015.

He further made his international debut for the Australia national cricket team in February 2017. He has been ruled out of the team as he failed to recover from a dislocated shoulder. Jhye had suffered from an injury during Australia's series against Pakistan in the United Arab Emirates in March. Kane Richardson is most probably going to take his place. Despite his injury he was included in the squad but unfortunately he could not recover in time. The team physiotherapist David Beakley stated that it is extremely sad news for the team and for Jhye who has been extremely exceptional during his rehabilitation process. He further stated that just after his recent assessment and bowling attempts, it became evident and came to light that his health is not improving as was expected. Resultantly a meeting was called and in consultation with the selectors, this decision was reached that Jhye shall not be a part of the squad during this World Cup. Kane Richardson shall replace him along with with long-time pace spearhead Josh Hazlewood. At the time of finalization of the squad, chief selector Trevor Hohns stated that the focus was on having Hazlewood ready for the Ashes Test series in England which shall commence in the month of August. He was instead named in Australia's one-day A squad, which will play games in England while the World Cup is on. The final Australia World Cup squad shall be as follows: Aaron Finch (capt), Usman Khawaja, David Warner, Steve Smith, Shaun Marsh, Glenn Maxwell, Marcus Stoinis, Alex Carey, Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc, Kane Richardson, Nathan Coulter-Nile, Jason Behrendorff, Nathan Lyon, Adam Zampa.
