FIFA World Cup 2018: Brazil’s Danilo Yet Again Injured

The 2018 FIFA World Cup is the 21st FIFA World Cup. It is an international football tournament contested by the men's national teams of the member associations of FIFA. It is organised once every four years. Lately it has been reported that Brazil's Danilo is out of remainder of the FIFA World Cup. It is because he is suffering with a ligament damage in his left ankle.

Danilogot injured during his training on July 5, 2018, according to ESPNFC report.Danilo started Brazil's tournament opener against Switzerland. Later, he had to miss three matches due to a severe thigh problem. He recently returned to full training with the squad but got an injury yet again in his ankle during the training. Along with the doctor of the Brazilian national team, Rodrigo Lasmar, Danilo performed image tests that confirmed the injury and he does not have sufficient time of recovery in the period of dispute of the World Cup. As a result, the Brazilian Football Confederation also declared that Danilo’s injury is not one that shall recover soon. They believe that he would not recover in time to play another game in the tournament.Danilo is presently in conversation with the technical committee. He has made a special request to them to keep him as part of the cast. Danilo’s treatment has began with the medical department of the national team. With or without Danilo, Brazil are aiming to secure the 6th World Cup.
