GB Men's Wheelchair Tennis Player Reach The Decider In World Team Cup

The Great Britain's men's team have reached the finals of the wheelchair tennis World Team Cup. They reached the decider after playing and winning against Belgium in Apeldoorn, Netherlands. Gordon Reid, who is ranked sixth in the world, gave the Great Britain team a lead after a comfortable 6-0 6-1 victory over Jef Vandorpe. World's number one player in wheelchair tennis, Alfie hewett then defeated Joachim Gerard by the scores of 6-3 2-6 6-2 to secure the win.
But, the women's team of Great Britain did not have such a good news. They lost 2-1 to China in their semi final and will now be playing for a bronze stand. Louise Hunt lost against Huimin Huang with the scores of 6-0 6-2 before Lucy Shuker levelled the tie while playing against Zhenzhen Zhu with a 6-4 7-5 success. But Hunt and Shuker lost to Huang and Zhu in the deciding doubles.
Sundays decider for the men's team which will be played against France or Japan will be a third final in 4 years for the men's team. They won gold in 2015 and won a silver in the last year. According to Reid, their match against Belgium was a big test but they came through strongly. Even Alfie played well for the match despite the abrupt weather conditions. Hewett said that he is confident about going through the final - after all, that is why they came here.
