Yuvraj Singh's team performed brilliantly and beat the Montreal Tigers for four wickets with 15 balls to spare. The Montreal Tigers scored 136 runs losing 9 wickets in 20 overs. In response, the Toronto Nationals reached the goal by losing 6 wickets in just 17.3 overs.
Yuvraj Singh, former all-terrain Team India, currently leads the Toronto Nationals in the current Canadian T20 Global League. The famous all-terrain is already in good shape and is playing some of the best entries in the cricket tournament of more than 20 in Canada.
But on Sunday, Yuvraj couldn't keep up his spell and left the field without scoring a single run for his team.
This incident took place when Toronto was hitting Montreal Tigers in Brampton and lost to Heinrich Klaasen (20) in the second ball of the eighth. After Klaasen's dismissal, left-handed batter Yuvraj went out to bat. He played the first ball of Fawad Ahmed and no career was scored. Yuvraj Singh played a sweeping shot at the next ball, but then felt he had back pain. Yuvi could not bear the pain and decided to return to the shelter.
However, Yuvraj's team performed brilliantly and beat the Montreal Tigers by four wickets with 15 extra balls. The Montreal Tigers scored 136 runs losing 9 wickets in 20 overs. In response, the Toronto Nationals reached the goal by losing 6 wickets in just 17.3 overs.
Chirag Suri, who scored 52 runs on 37 balls with the help of seven four and six, led Toronto to victory. This is the second victory of the Toronto Nationals in five games, but the road to their semifinals is still difficult.
On Saturday, Yuvraj Singh sent the crowd to the CAA Center in Ontario in a daze to show glimpses of his time. The Toronto Royals captain crushed 51 of only 22 balls, but his valiant effort was in vain when his team lost their penultimate group stage match against Brampton Wolves.
Yuvraj, who is not only limited to his good batting skills, but is also known for his fieldwork, showed his juggling act to catch the air and send Lendl Simmons back to the cabin.
