Goal-scorer for Chelsea, Franck Lampard Retired at 38

The former star of Chelsea and children’s writer Frank Lampard retired at 38. He said goodbye to his playing career on Thursday-feb-02’ 17. Lampard is known as the all-time leading goalscorer for Chelsea. He played for Chelsea for 13 years.

During an interview, the footballer denied of having any future plans. However, he has given some hints to go into the management team.

Lampard also stated that he has got a good number of offers for future to carry on playing in Britain. Meanwhile, he also accepted that he has also got an offer from Swansea manager Paul Clement.

In history, Lampard left New York City FC in the autumn and also played for West Ham United and Manchester City in the Premier League. However, it was at Stamford Bridge where he really made his name as a productive midfielder.

He scored 211 times for the Blues and won every major club honour. He achieved success by netting the goals. Moreover, he secured the club's first championship title in 50 years.
