“Greatest Batswoman – Mithila Raj”

Cricket is the most favourable game amongst Indians. Whether it is Test Match, T-20 series, Indian Premier League (IPL), One Day International (ODI), World Cup every Indian boy is very interested in watching the match.

But most people watch only Men Cricket tournaments and not women. If we will ask someone 5 names of Indian men cricket players, they will tell us easily, surely more than 5. On the other side, if we will ask them, the name of the women cricket team, very few will able to tell their names.
So, there are women, who are hardworking and playing games for our Country. Amongst them, one of the players is “Mithila Raj”.
Mithila Raj is the captain of the Indian Women’s National Cricket Team in tests and ODIs. She was born on 3rd December 1982, Jodhpur, Rajasthan. Her current age is 37 years old. She is considered as “greatest batswomen” in the team till yet.
In women's international cricket, she is the highest run-scorer and the only female cricketer to surpass the 6,000-run mark in WODIs. The first player to score seven consecutives 50s in ODIs. Raj also grasps the record for most half-centuries in WODIs. She is the first player from India to score 2000runs in t20s and first women cricketer to reach 2002 WT201 runs. The only player who has captained India in more than one ICC ODI World Cup Final in 2015 and also in 2017.
Mithila’s major teams are Air India Women, Asia Women XI, India Blue Women, India Women, Velocity. Her playing role is Top-order Batsman, her batting style Right-hand bat.

The biopic is in planning and the shoot is scheduled to start in 2019. She thinks Priyanka Chopra will be a great choice (to play me in the biopic). Their personalities match a lot. She is not a movie buff, so she would love the experts to do their job said by Raj.
