Here's What Students Who Topped CBSE Exam 10 Years Before Are Doing Now

Each year, students who top CBSE exam enjoy celebrity status for a day with their names splashed all over social media but the spotlight goes away as soon as it comes. Here's what some of the toppers are doing after their period of fame:

• Dravyansh Sharma from Delhi is working with Google currently. He topped the boards in 2011. Even though he is glad about the celebrity statues he enjoyed, he strongly believes that what you do in life matters more than marks.
  
• SavinayKapur made headlines after acing all the prestigious medical exams of the country like AIPMT, PMT and PPMT. He is now working as a Radiologist specialist in AIIMS.
  
• ArunaKesavan who topped CBSE in 2004 from Kerala pursued her degree from BITS, Pilani before pursuing PhD from Penn State, Pennsylvania. She is now a prominent researcher in Physics.
  
• Another student Mohammad Ismat topped the exam in 2012 despite his financial status. He graduated from St.Stephen's college and is now preparing for Civil Service examination.

School teachers believe that marks and the importance of being a topper is emphasized only to provide the students with an initial boost to move ahead in their life. Students who do not top but are actively involved in other activities such as sports, public speaking etc. are definitely doing quite well in their life too.
