They are on a run of 11 successive Test series victories on home soil and would be geared to make it 12 against an opponent ranked ninth in the Test rankings. But only one of those nine have been in the subcontinent where India and Bangladesh meet for the second time in their Test history. India vs. Bangladesh Head-to-Head Record & Last 5 Match Results in Tests.
Bangladesh are without their two most experienced players in Shakib Al Hasan and Tamil Iqbal and have also now reportedly lost Mosaddek Hossain, who had to travel home due to a family emergency. The visitors also have a new untested captain in Mominul Haque and to add to their woes, Bangladesh come up against an Indian team that ruthlessly clean-swept South Africa last month. India has no injuries or poor form to worry about and with players from every department in top-notch, Bangladesh might have to endure long sunny days under the sky.
