Indian Golfer Aditi Ashok Scripted History

The rising star of Indian Golf, Aditi Ashok wins the title of India’s first women golfer to raise the Ladies European Tour title.

Aditi shot an even parity-72 in the final round to achieve the title. The 18 years old took her total score to three-under 213. Brittany Lincicome of the US and Spaniard Belen Mozo won the tied second. Moreover, Aditi’s round included birdies on the par-four second and 10th holes and bogeys on the seventh, 13th and 17th. Aditi had also played at the Rio Olympic and secure 13th bogeys of the tournament on the par-5 18th to achieve her title.

With her winning spirit, Aditi had already impressed the audience by carding 3 under 69 on the second day during Rio Olympic.  She had been secured the sole lead at the DLF Golf and Country Club, earlier. The young Bengaluru Golfer has been a terrific player and now she has made the winning history in this Open Golf tournament. Along with Aditi other top Golf players were also participated in the Tournament such as Vani Kapoor, who found success at the fledgling home tour in India, secured 28th position in the tournament.
