
Indian Hockey Team Back In the National Camp

After losing in Rio Olympic quarterfinal against Belgium ‘Indian men’s Hockey team’ is back into action. The team has come back in the national camp on Friday after a four week break after the Rio Olympic.
According to the reports the new season of hockey is starting with the Asian Champions Trophy in Malaysia and the team has to undergo a selection process. This selection trial for the search of suitable player has started from today (23rd Sep) onwards at Bangaluru stadium.
Since the Asian Champions Trophy and Australia tour has been scheduled for the future the team has shifted their focus towards it. According to a report the Indian Men’s Hockey team will meet Team Pakistan during Asian Champions Trophy, in Malaysia.
Roelant Oltmans, chief coach India men's hockey team and Director High Performance
stated that this entire month will be dedicated to Asian Champions Trophy. He also added that the focus on fitness regime of the players is equally important and will get first priority from their side.
