In the Indian Super league Football match the Chennaiyin FC defeated FC Pune City. Chennaiyin FC beat FC Pune City with 2-0 scores. This time Defending champions Chennaiyin FC has broken their five-match winless line. The match was held in Chennai, where Jeje Lalpekhlua and Davide Succi from Chennaiyin FC scored once in each half to strike FC Pune City.
Last minutes of the tournament came as a challenge for the Chennaiyan FC. However in the last which Jeje gave his best shot in the 44 minutes. On the other hand, Succi did his best to get the victory crown for its team. In the 51st minute, Chennaiyin FC collected three points from their first victory after defeating NorthEast United in Guwahati on October 20. The Chennaiyan FC had won in Guwahati earlier this match and now they have drawn three matches while losing two.
Chennaiyin are now in the fifth position with 13 points from 10 matches. The team is back to form to get the place in the semi-finals, as per the reports. Currently, the Chennaiyin are on the outer surface of the top four due to a small goal difference.
