Rani was the star of the match for India as she scored two back to back field goals in the 35th and the 39th minute. The goals helped India come back stronger after Belarus had already taken a surprise lead.
The series is helping the team to gear up ahead of its Hockey World League Round 2 tournament in Canada this month. The first quarter of the match ended goalless. The Indian captain Rani, with her out-standing performance helped India clinch the third straight win. The third and final goal was scored by Deepika in the 42nd minute. The defenders did well to keep the visitors from scoring in the final quarter, thus ensuring a win.
