Women: A beautiful creation of God, An angel on the earth making our life a marvelous experience altogether. Imagining a life without women is quiet hard to digest. In fact, we all including the great people are born from the womb of a woman and it is a woman from whom they have taken their initial teachings so we are always emphasized upon giving the due respect to women and that is why Every year we celebrate 8th March as International Women’s Day to honour the achievements of women of past and present throughout the world. International Women's Day offers an opportunity for showcasing the reflection of progress made, for change in society and to celebrate acts of courage and determination by ordinary women. An equal world is an enabled world and will be the International Women's Day theme this year. #EachforEqual
But before celebrating all the powerful female figures in our own life and society, Let's have a look back at the fascinating International women's day history so, International Women's Day was first celebrated on March 19 in the year 1911. A million women and men reassembled to support women's rights on first International Women's Day. The world has witnessed a remarkable change and approachable shift in both women's and society's thoughts about women's equality and liberation.
On World’s International Women’s Day many conferences are organised along with several rallies and gatherings to salute and regard the endless efforts made by everyone. This day is celebrated to respect the importance of women in our lives. International Women's Day celebration is all about the marking of unity and advocacy globally. So we can conclude that the day is all about being aware of the fact that we need to respect women to change the ugly face of our society.
