Aridane Santana, another player was stuck soon after to restore parity for the opponent Odisha FC but ultimately a fighting second-half culminated in Sergio Castel which found a winner in the 85th minute.

The teams then looked on to get the score sheet early and it was Odisha FC that threatened at first.
Odisha further continued to push and for going close to again acquire four minutes later. Xisco then split the Jamshedpur defence for sending Jerry free down the right flank but by then the former Jamshedpur winger's curling effort ricocheted off by the post.
Fortune, favoured Jamshedpur as they very easily gained a one-goal lead in the 17th minute. Noe Acosta found that Farukh Choudhary in his space on the flank and the Indian forward's efforts into the box took a deflection off the defender, Rana Gharami and later on bulged the net.
The game was way too much stretched and the teams had found space on their counter-attacks. Afterwards, the striker squared it to the India forward who than wrongly chose to return the favour and lost the ball.
