JEE Mains 2019: Online Application For January Available

National Testing Agency (NTA) will now conduct national-level JEE Main exam after taking over the charge from CBSE. The exam will be conducted in online mode - twice a year. The January session will include 8 settings. To appear in the JEE Advanced exam 2019, candidates will first have to clear the Mains exam.
Important Dates for JEE Main Exam in 2019 held in January:
- Mock Test Availability: August 2018
- Issue of Application Form: 1 September 2018
- Last Date to Submit Completed Applications: 30 September 2018
- Entrance Exam: 6th - 20th January 2019 (total 8 sittings)
- Results: First week of Feb'19
Steps to Fill out the form:
- Registration: Done using email ID, mobile number, Aadhar card etc.
- Complete the essential details: Filling in all personal and academic details.
- Upload all the documents: You would have to upload your photograph, signature and signature of your mother/father/guardian in specified size, dimensions and format.
- Pay the application fees: Both online and offline modes are available. For offline mode, download the e-challan and pay at nearby Syndicate Bank/ICICI Bank/Canara Bank.
- Book the Slot for your exam.
- Take a printout of the acknowledgement page.
The results will be declared by the first week of February 2019. The results will include marks obtained subject-wise and overall marks. It is not clear if they would also include AIR or not. The results will also include the details about the qualifying status of the aspirant as admission to institutes like NITs, IIITs and CFTIs will be based on the scores obtained in JEE Main 2019.
