Launch of Audi A6 in India

It is good to know that the 2020 Audi A6 has finally made its way to India. The price range starts at ₹ 54.20 lakh as per ex-showroom in India. This is a new model of the eighth generation Audi A6 which is revamped with styling, improved interior with more space at the rear and a host of new tech on offer. Volkswagen had decided to get rid of diesel engines globally and so as this new A6 has been launched with petrol heart in the country. It is been declared that a diesel engine will be introduced later based on the demand. This Audi A6 will be taking on a number of offerings in the mid-size luxury sedan segment including the Mercedes-Benz E-Class, BMW 5 Series, Volvo S90 and the Jaguar XF. The newly launched Audi A6 gets an evolutionary design language which definitely looks sharper than before. The car will look like a large single-frame grille up front with horizontal chrome slats having the LED headlamps with new angle. The bonnet will be having new muscular lines for a strong impression having the long wheelbase further making a stately look on the sedan. There are new dual-tone alloy wheels on offer on the 2020 A6 while the rear sports new LED taillights that are connected by a chrome strip. This new launch will have cabin including the twin touch infotainment screen, virtual cockpit instrument cluster, four-zone auto climate control, panoramic sunroof, lighting package and the new MMI infotainment interface. The cabin has a cover made of leather and piano black trims, premium wood inserts along with aluminum accents. From safety point of view, the car comes will have eight airbags, ABS with EBD, front and rear parking sensors as well as 360-degree camera. It will also have electronic stability program, traction control, electric parking with auto-hold function. Also this 2020 launch of Audi A6 is made in a way that it will take power from the 2.0-litre TFSI petrol motor that develops 240 bhp and 370 Nm of peak torque. The engine will be highly efficient and BS6 compliant with a pairing of a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission that sends power to the front wheels. This car will have the capability of hitting a top speed of 250 kmph, while 0-100 comes up in 6.8 seconds. The fuel consumption is expected to be 14.11 kmpl on the car.
