
Make Little Changes to Reduce Obesity

A new report suggested that a little change made to the diet plan, physical activity and behavior may reduce obesity. It is both for children and adults. Two Cochrane Reviews were last in the series of related systematic reviews. The reviews summarized clues on the effects of different interventions for treating obesity and overweight in both groups.
The reviews were made from the results of 114 studies that involved more than 13,000 children and young people. It showed that a mix of diet, physical activity and behavioral change interventions can reduce weight in children from age six to 11 years and teenagers from age 12 to 17. Obesity has affected a lot of people across globe.
Obesity resulted into serious physical and mental health consequences such as diabetes, high blood pressure, low self-esteem, etc. The latest Cochrane Reviews will inform by World Health Organization.
