National-Selector’s Selection Criteria Disclosed by BCCI

On Monday BCCI has disclosed the criteria for the candidate. Invitation for applications has been invited on the basis of qualification and experience. The joining has been declared for the post of senior, junior and women national selectors.
According to the reports, candidates who have represented India can be the part of the invitation. The required post could be filled by someone who has participated in ‘Test match or a One Day International match’.
The significant criteria also includes that the candidate must has played minimum 50 First Class matches in India. BCCI also cleared that the potential candidate should not has any link with BCCI-selectors panel.
The eligibility criterion also demanded a five-years-prior-retirement from all form of cricket from the candidate. The selection team also stated that any link with Indian Premier League (IPL) management should be prohibited for eligible candidate.
The secondary criterion has mentioned that the applicant should below the age of 60.
BCCI team has also added, “the selected applicant should be prepared to go through a medical test".
