New Zealand Defeated Pakistan by 4 Runs on the Day 4 of the 1st Test

In the first test match between New Zealand and Pakistan, New Zealand team displayed a stunning content after they defeated Pakistan by just 4 runs and lead the series by 1-0. As Pakistan cricket team performed well and was in a very strong position of winning the match, they were simply blown out by the Kiwis bowling attack.

At once when Pakistan team came for chasing a very small total on Day 4 of the match, they were at 40-0 and then just 130-4, it was definitely a match in favor of Pakistan then but suddenly after the lunch break everything just went in the New Zealand’s way. There was a show of under pressure brainless batting by Pakistani team in the fourth innings. It was an unbelievable ting for the selection team and specially for the Pakistan’s coach, he will surely be having the nightmares after this show by his team. It was the recorded smallest defeat by runs difference in tests for Pakistan. On the other hand New Zealand has just engaged a new coach and what a beautiful start for his team, a win in his first match is all needed for a team boost. For New Zealand it was Debutant Ajaz Patel, the star of the show as he picked up 5 wickets to hand New Zealand a historic win in the first Test match at Abu Dhabi. While Pakistan was Chasing a target of just 176 runs, at a very strong position of 130-4 at one time, they collapsed in a heap and lost the match by 4 runs. Azhar Ali fought bravely to shower his talent on the field for Pakistan, but he was the final wickets to fall as Pakistan was left shocked by the result. After the match Pakistan captain Sarfraz Ahmed said at the ending ceremony that it is very disappointing for his team to lose up a close match. That to lose from here, it is even more heartbreaking. He further Praises Ajaz Patel for his accuracy but then believes his batsmen could have shown more patience to perform well and win the match. The second Test will be played in Dubai, from Saturday, November 24, 2018 and then both teams will return to Abu Dhabi for the final test from December 3, 2018.
