Paytm Now Partner With Twitter Too!

In an attempt for increasing user engagements on Paytm, One97 Communication has now partnered with Twitter so that it can integrate highlights on its messaging service, Paytm Inbox, which is there on the digital payments app.
Through this partnership, Paytm is currently looking forward to integrate Twitter Moments on the messaging service to allow users to access news, astrology and trending tweets.
Siddharth Pandey who is the Vice President of Paytm said that with this partnership, consumers now can check various issues that are trending on Twitter, news, events and more; and once they click on a specific element, it will take them to a web view of the link. Going forward, they will integrate various types of new services through partnerships to achieve new milestones.
Paytm Inbox was launched in 2017 and is an end-to-end encrypted messaging service which is available on the digital payments platform Paytm. It enables users to connect, share videos and images, live locations, create group chats and sending or requesting payments.
With the commencement of the messaging services, Paytm’s investor Alibaba Group was further looking to replicate the success of the Tencent-backed group WeChat in the country, China.
In 2018, Paytm Inbox has integrated additional features for boosting users’ engagements through services like games, news, short videos and also live television. For this, Paytm has partnered with various content providers for expanding the services.
Paytm Inbox also claims that the messaging service has been continuously recording a 100% quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) growth in its user engagements. In addition, it also claims to have over 40 Mn monthly active users, which have been said to cross the 100 Mn active user mark by this years end.
Founded in 2010 by Vijay Shekhar Sharma the company Paytm is known to be one of the oldest digital payment platforms in our country. Recently, Paytm has also partnered with a gaming and entertainment top-up platform Codashop.
