Pierre-Emerick Emiliano François Aubameyang

Born in 18th of June 1989 in Laval, France Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is a Gabonese professional football player who plays for the English club Arsenal as well the Gabonese National Team. He is also the Gabonese team captain. Interestingly his father Pierre Aubameyang too was an International Football player and the former captain of the Gabon.

Aubameyang’s senior career began in 2008 after he was promoted from the youth setup in Milan. Aubameyang worked hard on his performances and established himself as a goal scorer. He was the second top goal scorer with 19 goals and also won the Coupe de la Ligue 2013. This paved his move to Bundesliga Club, Borussia Dortmund for a whopping fee of 14 million Euros as is rumored. While in Germany under the keen eyes of Jurgen Klopp, Aubameyang moved from being a mid fielder to a complete forward. He established himself as one of the best forwards in the world scoring 141 goals in 213 games. He relocated to England and on the 31st of January 2018, he joined Arsenal club for a staggering club record deal worth 56 million pounds which also makes him the most expensive Gabonese player till date. He lived up to his name by his spectacular start in Club Arsenal career by scoring 3-2 win over Southampton. His form offers optimism. The six goals that he scored have come at the rate of one every 102 minutes, which certainly puts him amongst the very best in the Premier League this season.
