P.V Sindhu makes it to Forbes'30 under 30 Asia list

Pusarla Venkata Sindhu, famously known as P.V Sindhu, was born on 5th July 1995. She is an Indian professional badminton player, who is currently world no. 3 in the BWF World Ranking. She is the first Indian woman to win an Olympic silver medal. She is one of the two Indian badminton players to ever win an Olympic medal - other being Saina Nehwal. She was also a silver medalist at the 2017 BWF  World Championships.

Lately, she has been named as India's flag bearer for the Commonwealth Games. These games shall take place in Gold Coast, Australia in the end of this year. She has presently been featured in Forbes 30 under 30 list for 2018. It is the third annual Forbes rankings. The list puts forward the names of 30 from a list of 300 individuals from all over Asia. Among those who have made a place in this list are Bollywood star Anushka Sharma, Indian women cricket team's opener Smriti Mandhana and Indian polo team captain and member of the former ruling family of Jaipur, Padmanabh Singh. But P.V Sindhu's story is different and extremely inspirational for others. Her journey to success began  after she won the first medal  for India at the Rio Olympics. She has become the most valued sports brand in the country. Her journey so far has been tremendous. With the upcoming CWG and BWF World Championship, she has set her eyes on her goal to achieve the elusive World no. 1 title.
