Python To Be Introduced In Computer Science, Class 12th By CBSE

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has taken a decision to include the language Python in the Computer Science class 12^th examinations to come effect in the academic session 2019-20.

CBSE decides to draft Computer Science exam paper on the basis of pattern of 2018. The board had now decided to prescribe the latest syllabus of Computer Science of the students of class 12 who will appear in the board examination which will be conducted in the academic year 2019. Meanwhile, some schools have already started teaching the Python language in Computer Science subject in the previous year academic session of 2017-18. As per the information on the official website, "So as to enable the offering of Computer Science to students irrespective of the current programming language to be involved in the examination of Class 12 in 2019, the CBSE will now be administering, the question papers of Computer Science on the basis of 2018 examinations that is having different sections i.e. C++ and Python and candidates be now be allowed to attempt any one of the respective section". The CBSE will be conducting the Class 12^th exams from February 15 to April 3, 2019. The exam will be held in the morning session, of 10.30 A.M. to 1:30 P.M., the answer books shall be provided to the students at 10 am and question papers will be distributed at 10:15 A.M. Python language has been designed philosophy which mainly had emphasizes on code readability, notably they are using the smart whitespace. It also provides the constructs which enables to clear the programming on both the small and large scales interference. Python also comprises a dynamic type of system and also an automatic management of memory. It also tends to support several programming paradigms, which includes imperative, object-oriented,  procedural and functional, and it also has a comprehensive and large standard library.
