The second day of RBCL was fun packed. The whole ground echoed with the nervous laughter and shrieks of the young players of various schools who came today to showcase their talent. The first match was between the young boys of Raghubir Singh Modern School and Amity International School. This match was considered the best match of the day and Raghubir Singh Modern School won the match with a lead of 33 points. Karnaveer Singh of Raghubir Singh Modern School was chosen as the player of the day. On being asked about how he felt about the coming matches, he replied with utmost confidence that he and his team members are very sure that they will win the finals also! They also said that they thoroughly enjoyed playing the game today.
The second match of the day was between G.D. Goenka School, Vasant Kunj and Srijan School, Rohini . G.D.Goenka School, Vasant Kunj won the match and were congratulated with a huge round of applause. The third match of the day was between the young beauties of Carmel Convent and DPS, East of Kailash. It seemed like a cakewalk for DPS as they won with a margin of 26 points. The fourth match was between The Sri Ram, Aravali and G.D. Goenka, Dwarka in the primary boy’s category. The Sri Ram, Aravali won the match with a margin of 6 points. The fifth match of the day was between the young talented boys of Scottish High School and Apeejay School, Saket. Scottish High School won the match with a lead of 3 points. This was one of the most cheered matches of the day.
The sixth match of the day was between Modern School, Vasant Vihar and Sanskriti School in the primary boys’ category again. Modern School won this nail-biting match with a margin of 3 points. Both the teams were being greatly cheered by the audience. The last match of the day was between Bal Bharti, Pitampura and Mont Fort, Ashok Vihar. It seemed like Bal Bharti couldn’t put their best foot forward as Montfort, Ashok Vihar won the match with the score of 34-0. The day concluded with the dreams of yet another shining and fun tomorrow.
