
Rio Paralympic Games 2016: Making India Proud

Rio paralympic games, governed by International Paralympic Committee happen every four years for athletes who suffer from various disabilities. Summer Paralympic games contain multi-sport events that include archery, athletics, boccica, paracanoe and many more.
Rio de Janeiro is scheduled to happen from 07 September to 18 September 2016. According to the reports India’s chances of winning medals are very high.
In 2004 India has got one gold medal in Javelin throw by Indian paralympic javelin thrower Devendra Jhajaria in Athens, now this time he will also be in action.
Besides Davendra Jhajaria, Amit Kumar Saroha will also be contributing an essential role in
Reports states, India is the one country which has sent its largest delegation to the Rio 2016 Paralympics which is the highest sent for the event till date. This time the Paralympics 2016 will be represented by 19 athletes from the nation.
