Rohit Sharma: 150 Plus Scores X 6

Rohit Gurunath Sharma was born 30^th April, 1987 in Nagpur. He made his A list debut for the West Zone in the Deodhar Trophy in March 2005.His unbeaten innings of 142 in 123 balls in the same tournament against North Zone in Udaipur that brought him to forefront. He also made his First Class debut for India A against New Zealand A at Darwin in July 2006. In the year 2013, when Ajit Agarkar retired and owing to his successful stint as a captain in the IPL for Mumbai Indians, where he was the driving force for the team to win the IPL as well as the Champions League T20, he was appointed as the captain of the Mumbai Ranji Team for the year 2013-2014.

Having started his International career at the age of 20, it was predicted by experts that he would become a permanent figure in the Indian Cricket team. An International cricketer he is the vice captain of the India National Team in limited over formats. A right-handed batsman, he is also an occasional right –arm off break bowler.

On the 13^th of November, Rohit scored a whooping 264 against Sri Lanka at Eden Garden in Kolkata. It is the highest individual score in ODI’s. He also became the fastest batsman to score a century of 35 balls in T20 match against Sri Lanka. He is also the only player in the world to have scored three double hundreds in ODIs.

Rohit Sharma has made 20 centuries out of the 189 ODIs matches that he has played so far. The six 150 scores are:

1. Scored 209 against Australia, November 2013, in Bangalore.
2. Scored 264 against Sri Lanka, November 2014, in Kolkata.
3. Scored 150 against South Africa, October 2015 in Kanpur.
4. Scored 171 against Australia, January 2016 in Perth.
5. Scored 208 against Sri Lanka, December 2017 in Mohali.
6. Scored 152 against West Indies, October 2018 in Guwahati.
