India lost first T20 as Muishfiqur Rahim (60*) helped Bangladesh beat India at Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi. But in 2nd T20 India won toss and Rohit Sharma choose to field first at Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Rajkot on Thursday. He passed the statement saying that due to dew condition we thought to ball first as it would be difficult for the bowlers to take the wickets in second half. After Bangladesh made 153/6 in 20 overs happens to India has to chase154 to win the match. The two openers Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan were in a very good form and gave a great start. Rohit Sharma who was playing 100th T20 gave tremendous performance and proving why people call him “Hit man”. Rohit led from the front and played a winning stroke of 85 runs off just 43 balls. Rohit also told that he was also happy with the way two spinners played. He told that “Both the spinners are very smart and they understand their bowling really well. They always have conversation with coach and the captain as how to improve. Rohit also told that without carried away by the win want to focus on the third T20. Rohit told that he never underestimated the opposition bowling or batting all these years I have only tried to do my best when I have the bat in my hand. I knew the conditions were perfect and there was no turn on offer, all I wanted to do was remain stationed and tonk the ball. Rohit teed off in the fourth over of the innings when he hit an off-drive, followed by a cover drive and then a straight six off Mustafizur Rahaman. It was difficult to comeback from that point for Bangladesh as the Indian captain got boundaries and sixes at will. Shreyas Iyer and KL Rahul was also seen in performance yesterday. Shreyas also maintained the tempo of Rohit after he got out and hit a boundary and a smashing six. Yesterday Rishabh Pant also did good wicketkeeping by stumping out the bails. At first the fourth umpire declared Not Out but then it flashed out. Just when a fifth hundred in this format looked there for the taking, the skipper was out trying to hit a seventh six. Shreyas Iyer and KL Rahul then completed the formalities with 26 balls to spare. The third and the final match will be played in Nagpur on November 10.
