That since 1886, the Saint Paul Winter Carnival organized in Minnesota, United States has brought events which tends to be like a family show and a community exposure to Saint Paul and the Twin Cities metro area. It includes various special events based on the city-vide scenario, experience fun activities, etc. Minnesotans seems to be really adorable as they celebrate winters at the Saint Paul Festival and through the Heritage Foundation. It is considered as one of the oldest winter festival in the United States of America. The main attraction is the Tournament of Roses Festival which is the part of festival by last two years. At once a group of some renowned businessman decided to display all the beauty of Minnesota winters by organizing the winter festival and return the thanks to nature. Their combined work with the people of city of Minnesota used to organize a small winter carnival in the past. Due to a small pox epidemic that came to hit the people which once suspended the 1886 Montreal Festival before from 1883 to1886. The castle was constructed on February 1, 1886 at a cost of $5,210 which was 106 feet tall. After that a bigger castle was constructed which heighted of 165 feet (a Guinness record) by the Pepsi Palace in 1992 which cost them $1,900,000. It is basically funded by some private donations and a large part of corporate contributions. The Board of Directors which includes hundreds of corporate and individual member has employed a full time staff round the year to help them to plan this community winter celebrations. The basic concept of the Montreal Festival is the legendry idea and some other concepts of arts and games that influence large number of people to get connected. People gets a makeover like the Royal Family and Vulcan Krewe are made from the volunteers that come to attend the festival and thereafter make over 400 appearances during the year to local and national festivals, nursery homes, middle schools and hospital and nursing homes on behalf of the Winter Carnival and the community. Currently the Winter Carnival as part of the celebration features the following events:

The upcoming festival will be held from January 24 – February 3, 2019 as 133rd Saint Paul Winter Carnival.
