Shakshi Malik New Wrestling Director of Rohtak-Based University

After the great success at the Rio games Shakshi malik has been appointed as Wrestling Director at Maharshi Dayanand University in Rohtak by Haryana Government.
Anil Vij, minister of Haryana Sports and youth Affairs has announced that with the position she will be getting a plot (measuring 500 square yards) and price money of Rs. 21 lakh from his voluntary fund.
Wrestler Shakshi Malik has won a bronze medal on 18th August 2016 at the Rio Games. While announcing her name for director’s post at a function at Rohtak, Sports Minister appreciated coach Mandeep and promised him a promotion under special rules.
Beside this, the Haryana Government has already congratulated Shakshi Malik with Rs. 2.5 Cr under its sports policy. The Government has also planned to build a small sports stadium in each village, in addition with construction of 880 Yogshalas and Vyayamshalas at the village level.
