Shower Your Love On Your Kids This Valentine's Day
Editorials News | Feb-10-2019
Valentine’s Day is not only for lovers. This day can be celebrated with anyone you love, respect or care for. There is no love greater than what parents have for their kids. Keeping this beautiful and pure thought in mind, we have prepared a list of things and venues where you can take your kids on this Valentine’s Day and show around Delhi. From beautiful parks to strange museums, from bowling to ice skating, there is a multitude of attractions where parents can take their little ones. So, grab this amazing opportunity to reconnect and spend some precious moments with your children on this loving and special day.
NATIONAL ZOOLOGICAL PARK
This park is one of the best ways of observing animals in their natural habitat. Going on safari to this park is a very interactive and engaging way of educating your little ones on wildlife. You can plant a trip here on this Valentine’s Day with your kids. Both fun and educational, Zoo is a perfect location for enjoyment as well as grabbing information. It is located just minutes from central Delhi and is very close to Pragati Maidan.
iSkate
If you love and your kids love skates then iSkate is the destination for you all. Located on the sixth floor of the Ambience Mall, this skating ground is spread across 15,000 square feet and it also houses private karaoke and private rooms. Also, they provide introductory classes for adults as well as children. After skating, you can treat yourself and your little ones at the rink’s gourmet ice cream parlor.
32nd Milestone
This amazing and entertaining venue is located in sector-15 Gurgaon. It has everything that you can think of in one vast complex. It comprises a four-lane bowling alley and a multi-level go-karting track. This will keep the kids and teens entertained for hours. This fun and awesome complex also includes a gaming enclosure for your children. When your children begin to feel peckish after a few rounds of bowling and gaming, you can take them to fine-dining restaurants which offer everything from Chinese to Indian food to satiate their hunger.
THE NATIONAL RAIL MUSEUM
One thing which fascinates the kids more than flying through the skies is chugging along in a train. The National Rail Museum provides a peek into India’s rich rail heritage. This place also showcases the train which was once owned by the Maharaja of Patiala. This includes the display of both functional, and static train models. This destination is spread over 10 acres and it is a great place to school the kids on a large variety of engines and carriages.
NEHRU PLANETARIUM
Every child wants to be an astronaut at one point or another. This place is just perfect to make the dreams of your children a reality. Back in 1964, the grounds which were once the official residence of Jawaharlal Nehru were converted into the Nehru Memorial Museum and Library. Constructed with the aim of promoting astrology, a visit to this place can be the perfect day trip for both your children and you.
SULABH INTERNATIONAL MUSEUM OF TOILETS
This venue is a slightly more unconventional form of entertainment. If the age of your kid is above 5 then this place is going to be a real treat. This place showcases artifacts of sanitation dating back to the days of the Indus Valley Civilisation, or those prevalent in bygone Greece. The stroll through the quirky interiors will keep not only the kids, but even the adults deeply immersed.
