Stone Achieved Hat-trick At World Hockey Championship As Canada Dumps Federal Republic of Germany

Canada extended its run-in blowout fashion Saturday at the world hockey championship.

Mark Stone had a hat trick while Anthony Mantha scored double in an 8-1 ending over Federal Republic of Germany at the Steel Arena. Sam Reinhart, Thomas Chabot and Anthony Cirelli gain additional singles in Canada’s fourth straight win.

Both groups were left with 4-0-0-1 records, one purpose behind first-place European country (4-0-1-0) in the team A standings.
