Team India Introduce New New Jersey For ODI Format

Indian Captains Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni unveiled the new ODI jersey on the eve on of match between India and Australia.

India’s Women T20 captain Harmanpreet Kaur was also present with Virat kohli and Dhoni at the launch of new ODI kit along with Prithvi Shaw and Ajinkya Rahane, Jemimah Rodrigues.

The men team player will wear the New Jersey in First ODI against the Australia series. Along with the team the official sponsor apparel Nike launched the New ODI jersey at a ceremony at the Rajiv Gandhi cricket stadium in Hyderabad.

There are some changes in the new ODI jersey like the dates of India's 1983 World Cup win, the T20 World Cup win in 2007 and the 2011 World Cup win below the back collar.

Team India will be playing the five match series against the Australia which will start from Saturday.

According to the India captain he said “I don’t think that IPL will influence the world cup selection, I think that will be very, very radical sort of Analysis, on the eve on the first ODI session.

There were many talks that IPL could be possible shoot - out between the Dinesh Kartik and Rishabh Pant for the second wicketkeeper slot but Kohli Said that one good IPL doesn’t make any difference for any world cup.

We need very strong team, before we head towards the IPL, we need to be clear what type of team we want in the World Cup.

If one or two player do not have good IPL session, that doesn’t mean that player are out of the World Cup picture, said  Virat Kohli.

Former Skipper Dhoni were also earlier seen on the nets along with their teammates at the Uppal Stadium. Dhoni also got hit on his arm while doing practice in the net.

The veteran was in some pain and didn’t bat after that has precautionary measures. Whether the injury is serious enough to make him doubtful for the opening ODI.

Dhoni will not be playing the match, and then Rishabh Pant is expected to don the big gloves.
