The Change in Space Temperature
Editorials News | Apr-22-2017
A prediction about space that was made about 40 years ago has been proved true by scientists. It was said that if a person is travelling in space at a constant speed he will find the surrounding cool where if the same person is accelerating through space he would find it to be hot. The phenomenon which was given the name of Unruh Effect was impossible to measure.
The concept is being said to be based on a mathematical mistake. According to Albert Einstein’s theory things appear differently to observers in different relative motion. The result is that when a person travels through space at a constant speed and then at an accelerating speed, he finds a change in temperature in the surrounding.
Scientists are still looking for experiments to confirm the theory. It is being said that even if the experiments give a positive report about the prediction being true, the debate over the Unruh Effect will go on.
