The Dilemma of Dark Matter

Dark matter has always been a topic of discussion for scientists and researchers everywhere, but do you know what exactly is meant by it?
About 80% of the universe is built up of material that is not directly observable for the scientists. This bizarre material neither emits light nor energy. So why scientists so obsessed with finding more information about it?
The known matter of the universe is made up of protons, neutrons and electrons. It may be possible that the dark matter be made up of the same thing or may out of something that is totally new and unknown to us.
Most scientists think that dark matter is built up of something that they are not familiar with. Whatever the case be, dark matter is a concept that scientists all over the world are trying to solve. We hope we get an answer soon.
