The Fascinating Backyard Wrestling

Backyard Wrestling is also known as yarding or backyarding. It is an underground hobby and sports which involves 11 -30 year old males only. Only a small percentage of people participating in it have experience from wrestling school or from referring to how – to guides on internet.

It has been a subject of opposition to pro wrestling personnel for years. This sport reached zenith of its popularity from 1996-2001. This was also the time known as the Attitude Era where high risk stunts were a widespread influence on the wrestling fan base. The most notable memories were those performed by wrestling legend Mock Foley. Backyard Wrestling was a good-natured topic for media for the coverage purpose from 1980s to early 1990s. It highly appealed media until it periodically turned incautious and ultra-violent, thus worried parents and wrestling companies.

Backyard Wrestling is somewhat a loose term that can happen anywhere from a park, field, warehouse or an actual backyard. It got hype in media with several Best of Backyard Wrestling Volumes produced, two video games entitled Backyard Wrestling: Don't Try This at Home and Backyard Wrestling 2: There Goes the Neighborhood, and a critically acclaimed 2002 documentary entitled The Backyard.
