Well-wishes continue to pour in from leaders, politicians, sportsmen and celebrities for the upcoming World Cup for Men's Hockey tournament. The matches will be held at Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar from 28th of November 2018 to 16th of December 2018. Subhash Ghai- renowned filmmaker is the newest addition to the cheers flowing in for Team India. He is also all praises for the Odisha government to host such a mega event in their state. Just a few days ago cricket legend Rahul Dravid also took to social media to wish the boys luck for their match.
Subhash Ghai's video message was posted on Twitter by the Odisha tourism on their official handle (@odisha_tourism) on Monday. "I want to extend my hearty wishes and good luck to the entire team of Odisha Men's Hockey World Cup".
Earlier reports said that the state tourism department brought in celebrities from different fields so as to promote the Men's Hockey World Cup. Last week, Naveen Patnaik, CM of Odisha announced collaboration with the renowned music director AR Rahman and lyricist Gulzar for creating title song for the tournament. Rahman is also scheduled to perform at the opening ceremony of the tournament.
