The NBA Season Is Over, But Not Basketball

The NBA season is over, but basketball is not. Basketball is like an addiction and to feed the addiction before the next NBA season tips in mid-October here is what one can do.

 

WNBA- The Women’s league cooks all summer. Presently, the Connecticut Sun look like the team to beat, along with the hot Atlanta Dream, Phoenix Mercury, and Seattle Storm. Coverage as well as league passes are available.

BIG3 League: The second season of BIG3 starts June 22. The 3-on-3 added some more famous retired players, lost its commissioner amid a scandal that involved Qatari investors. The coverage is on Fox Sports 1.

The Basketball Tournament: Late this June will be tips off the growing and fittingly named The Basketball Tournament. It’s a 72-team tournament with approximately $2 million prize. All coverage is available through WatchESPN with final couple rounds on ESPN’s network.

FIBA World Cup Qualifiers: The final pot of first-round qualifiers for he 2019 FIBA World Cup begins 28th June.

FIBA Women’s World Cup: The FIBA Women’s World Cup is scheduled from September 22-30 on Canary Islands. Puerto Rico is one of the teams making its World Cup debut.

Though the NBA season is over but for Basketball fans the summer seems intresting.
