The Various Formats of Cricket in Modern India

There has never been a fixed pattern for International Cricket in India. A new trend is reflecting that players are getting more interested in playing one-day matches than Test matches. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) manages the Cricket in India. It is counted as the richest cricket board in the world. However, it is also true that it has not been able to arrange tickets to see live matches on ground to the cricket fans. Indian International Cricket Squad is another organization that provides great cricket players; Sachin Tendulkar is also a product of the board. India is counted among the No. 1 team in Test matches, and One Day International. But if we talk about T20 Cricket then it is on the 5th position in T20 International. The First class competitions that are organized by India are: Ranji Trophy; Duleep Trophy; Irani Trophy. These all have an old and glorious history in terms of selecting the best players. Deodhar Trophy, NKP Salve Challenger Trophy, Vijay Hazare Trophy, and BCCI Corporate Trophy are the Limited overs competitions that are organized by India. In Twenty20 competitions there are also various formats that have been played like: Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy; Indian Premier League; and Inter-State T20 Championship. In Twenty20, crowd participation motivated more strongly than in other formats of the game. It has been greatly acknowledged and admired by cricket lovers and has been getting more and more profits.
