Tips and Tricks to Give Your Best at NEET 2

After the confusion regarding the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test in May this year, the Supreme Court has ordered that the second part of the exam will be on July 24, 2016. Students who appeared for NEET 1 know that the question paper was according to last year’s AIPMT pattern. NEET 2 will follow the same pattern, the only difference being the level of competitiveness, as this test is open to candidates who appeared for NEET 1 as well.
As per the ordinance, the exam phase 2 will be conducted for those applying to Central Government institutions, private medical colleges, and deemed universities. States have been asked to conduct their exams this year or take in consideration the score of NEET for their undergraduate medical and dental courses.
Following indicators, as per The Hindustan Times, can be taken into consideration while appearing for NEET.
Attempt the question paper in three rounds.
The first round should contain all questions that are least difficult, and do not require much calculations or diagrams. However, be careful while you are at it, and avoid silly mistakes. In the second round, attempt questions that require a little extra effort and involve calculations, manipulations, generating equations and drawing diagrams, but do not get stuck at questions you cannot answer, as you will only waste your time. Mark those questions, and glance at them when you have completed all other questions. The last phase, which is roughly the last half hour, can be for the questions that you would like to reattempt.
This will ensure that you attempt the maximum number of questions correctly, will optimize your overall score, and will give you ample time to reattempt the questions you could not figure out at first.
