Vinod Khosla: A Journey of Success through the Route of Failure

How many times we try and fail to achieve the set goals of our life. Today we are talking about the living legend Vinod Khosla, a renowned businessman who started his journey from a zero.

Vinod Khosla is an Indian-born American engineer and businessman, listed by Forbes magazine as a billionaire. However the routes of success were not easy to walk through for him. Khosla made his early fortune as one of the co-founders of Sun Microsystems, where he was the founding CEO and chairman in the early 1980s.

It was a life changing morning when Khosla read about the founding of Intel in Electronic Engineering Times at the age of fourteen. He got inspired after reading it consequently he pursued technology as a career after the incidence.  As a child Vinod attended Mount St Mary's School in Delhi and went on to receive multiple degrees from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering).

To achieve his future targets he moved to Carnegie Mellon University for a Masters degree in Biomedical Engineering, and then Stanford Graduate School of Business (MBA).

Several times Vinod Khosla has made a mark through his motivational quotes: “It doesn’t matter what your probability of failure is. If there’s a 90% chance of failure, there’s a 10% chance of changing the world”.
