What Was The Camp Of Horror?

Humanity is a fragile aspect that should be balanced for harmonious living. But humanity took a huge dip in the year 1933 when Adolf Hitler introduced the German Nazi Regime, which in Lehman's term meant persecution and mass murder of millions of Jews.

Hitler’s ideologies were that the Jews were an inferior race and were impure. His hate against the Jews took such a barbaric turn that he constructed concentration camps in which millions of Jews along with others suffered appalling ends. Hitler was obsessed with the idea that Germans were the only pure race and deserved the right to expand. His mind was so influenced by this that committing mass murder and committing an inhumane crime was a cakewalk for him.

Hitler was named chancellor of Germany on January 30, 1933. After President Paul von Hindenburg died in 1934, Hitler anointed himself as Germany’s supreme ruler and thus began the horror. Hitler unleashed horror upon the innocent Jews for 12 years. The whole scenario of the Holocaust can open the eyes of the world to the kind of destruction caused by one man’s hate for another race. Just because he wished for superiority.

A few of the Holocaust victims are still alive to share their horrific stories about the monstrosities they went through at the concentration camps. Humanity was shaken to its core after learning about the extreme barbaric activities that the Jews went through at those camps. Humans can make this world a revolving marvel, yet they decide to go the other way and cause destruction and discomfort to the environment as well as to other human beings.

Hitler’s actions were an awakening to the world that hate causes people to commit such horrendous deeds that would mark it as the most saddening event in history.

With the end of the war and the German surrender, international military courts were set up for the quick trials and sentencing of nazis for the crimes they committed against Jews and humanity.
