Women’s Hockey Team Has Made Us Proud!

Indian women’s hockey team has entered finals of Olympic test event. The following update which we received in August, 2019 straight from Tokyo to India made every Indian proud. After an impressive triumph against Australia, India has stepped into finals of Olympic test event. The Indian team looked in a fresh and good rhythm during their initial stages of first quarter and as the game moved forward there was a constant pressure which was built on the defence with China.
In this whole happening India’s penalty corner expert who is named as Gurjit Kaur, stepped up for taking the set piece but he could not find the backside of the net, it was because as the Chinese Goalkeeper Dongxiao Li had already deflected the ball prior to the danger.
India also commenced its second quarter with great and high attacking flair and had a beautiful victory in just 17 minutes. Gurjit Kaur once again tried to aim for the side, but her effort was denied by Li. Both teams spared their space and time with their opponents. China was in need of the victory to confirm the fact that India’s performance and defence was up to the mark.
With a tally of at least five points from the prior matches of India, where the team performed exceptionally good and proved its calibre. India topped the list in the points table and is now entered in the finale.
