World’s Most Dangerous Motorcycle Road Race
Editorials News | Jan-16-2020
Luxurious hotels, casinos, and also night clubs have merged with gray buildings, European remains, and Taoist temples that are in a city full of ideogram signs, and also unmistakable smells and sounds. Between all this there is a tiny strip of tarmac stretches that is there for 3.7 miles and is surrounded by walls and black-and-yellow barriers, further creating one of the most fascinating, amazing yet dangerous circuits in the world.
Macau is seen like a labyrinth, a real nightmare for newcomers and is a thought that is shared by the majority of riders. Treacherous corners that are alternate with two sixth-gear straights are the place where the speed is all the way definitely more magnified by the tall buildings all around.
Every corner resembles with each other and looks the same as the next one. Track knowledge is very essential, but there are sometimes when experience is not enough and the uninterrupted yellow-black-yellow-black sequence also sometimes betrays even the most experienced riders.
Cars have been racing between these Armco barriers since 1954, while the bikes started racing at the Guia Circuit only a few years later, in the year 1967. Forget the Isle of Man TT, the Pikes Peak Hill Climb and the green Irish road races; the Macau Grand Prix is much more similar to the much coveted Monte Carlo.
